Preparation


Start the bootloader

The two of the "J2" Jumper(between the USB ports) must face towards the ports. The Jumper J1 must inserted to D. Afterwards the command lsusb on the hostsystem shows:

(Bus 001 Device 079: ID 0471:df55 Philips (or NXP) LPCXpresso LPC-Link)

connect to the GNUBLIN via RS232 in a new shell:

picocom -b 115200 /dev/ttyUSB0

To transfer the bootloader, type the following in the first shell:

sudo dfu-util -R -t 2048 -D apex.rom


You should now see the following output:

If there isn't a SD-Card in the GNUBLIN Board, you will see the following error message

Unable to open 'ext2://1/zImage'
Error -16 (no card)

Just insert a SD-Card and type the following:

copy ext2://1/zImage 0x30008000
cmdline *= console=ttyS0,115200n8 root=/dev/mmcblk0p1 rw rootwait
boot
