From GNUBLIN

Before you can take the GNUBLIN-LAN in operation, even smaller soldering has to be carried out. However, you should first check that all components have been included.

Assembly

'NOTE:' The button cell holder can be mounted from above and from below. Please note that the coin cell holder mounted from above covers the SD card and the LED. If you want to change the SD card very often, the bottom mounting is recommended (in this case you need any additional feet for the board). An assembly with cables is also conceivable.

When assembling the components you should make sure that you start with the flattest part. Here it is recommended to adhere to the following sequence in the assembly of the components.

  1. USB A female
  2. 14-pin connector
  3. 32.768 kHz crystal
  4. 2 pin header
  5. 3 pin header
  6. relay
  7. hollow socket
  8. 2-terminal screw (inside one another see here)
  9. Battery holder (see information above!)
  10. RJ45 network jack
